About the Role:

As Senior Executive Financial Reporting, you will bring relevant experience in accounting and financial management, with a strong background in managing general ledger activities, posting manual journals, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, cost categorisations, cash posting, and participating in transformational finance projects.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Management Accounts, to be successful in this role you will need strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Post manual journals and maintain proper documentation and support for all entries.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Categorize costs effectively to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
  • Handle cash posting activities and ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of cash transactions.
  • Actively participate in transformational finance projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.
  • Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

About You - Skills & Experience Required:

We're looking for a motivated individual with a background in financial reporting and an enjoyment of supporting colleagues across the globe in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CA, CMA or equivalent is preferred

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of being a proactive and engaged team player
  • Experience in leading or participating in finance transformation projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement initiatives
